Bohemian-themed weddings are on the rise, as are softy textured boho bridal hairstyles! The boho style is perfect for a bride who wants to showcase her natural hair and isn't afraid to let a few strands fly free. After all, those who appreciate the bohemian style find beauty in the imperfect! Which is why we're sharing hairstyles that feature organic shapes, loosely pinned curls, and messy braids. Often complemented by dainty, earth-inspired accessories and fresh florals. To help you achieve an effortlessly romantic bridal style, take a look at the following styles, with options for every type of hair.
Short hair doesn't give you a lot of options but will lend a striking look. For hair that is just long enough to hold accessories, consider sweeping it back or to one side - but stay away from products that will make it look stiff. Place large hairpieces at your natural part for a romantic asymmetrical look. Or pin smaller pieces back with clips - like our Gold & Pink Beach Hair Clips!

Short straight or wavy hair is easy to work with and lends a youthful look. Pin the top back and out of your face, and house the bottom half. When you opt for a simple hairstyle, go big with your accessories. Such as a voluminous pampas grass crown, or even a trendy wide brim hat.
A low bun is a classic choice and so easy to pull off. Simply pull the hair straight back and pin the hair in a messy bun. If you opt for a cleaner looking bun, maintain a more effortless look by pulling out strands to frame your face. You can complement this look with a dainty halo, or even a hat.
Another low bun, this boho hairstyle is slightly more tousled and natural. The hair is curled prior to being pinned back, lending a messier and more carefree vibe. Aside from pulling out strands to frame the face, you can also loosen other pieces close to your ears.
Braids are a super trendy and make for a gorgeous updo. In fact, they can be used in most any updo! For this particular style the hair is braided and wrapped into a lower bun and pinned in place. This bride also complemented the style with baby's breath for an oh so ethereal look.
Speaking of braids, we love a fishtail - or any intricate braid for that matter! They give us major Rapunzel vibes and look beautiful for an intimate wooded wedding. This bride's hair looks especially soft thanks to soft but tight curls, complemented by a flower crown.
If you want a unique bridal hairstyle, don't be afraid to play around with different braids. These braids are loose and messy, and dotted with white flowers. Notice that the upper portion of the hair is also loose, but completely pulled back so as to keep it out of the bride's face.
Similar to a short hairstyle, bride's with longer hair can also achieve an effortless look by simply rocking their natural hair. However, longer hair also includes more risk for hair in your face. If this is a problem, twist or braid front portion of the hair towards the back of the head. You can accessories with a comb or flowers.
Curls are one of our favorite hair types for the bohemian bridal style. They have the perfect natural texture and require minimal effort to create a free-spirited look. If you have especially tight curls, consider rocking a high updo held in place with a large pin.

If you have looser curls, make the most of your natural volume. Keep any ponytails loose, and pull a few strands free to frame the face. Curls look especially beautiful with asymmetrical styles, so consider pulling the hair to one side. Over the shoulder in a messy braid if you like.
